The Toyota Celica Racecar was built by the British former world rally champion, Jonny Milner. Based on the sixth generation Celica, the Toyota Celica Racecar Milner is a super lightweight, tipping the scales at only 1050 kg. For better weight distribution, the rider’s position has been moved back 12 inches, and the car’s center of gravity lowered by increasing the wheel arches and suspension up. A flat floor and rear diffuser add a degree of ground effect. The Toyota Celica Racecar engine is from a World Rally Championship winning Corolla, newly fitted with a Rotrex supercharger that will help raise maximum output to more than 800bhp. A nitrous oxide injection system helped reduce turbo-lag for quicker acceleration off the line.
