The car is designed, developed and manufactured by a subsidiary high-performance private AUDI AG, quattro GmbH, and similar to the Lamborghini Gallardo. [8] The basic construction of the R8 is based on the Audi Space Frame, [3] and using the aluminum monocoque built around the principles of the space frame. This car was built by quattro GmbH in the recently renovated factory in the Audi ‘site aluminum “in Neckarsulm, Germany.
